Deal is now DEAD!
No PWM, so flicker-free backlight.
Definitely does not offer the contrast ratio of A-MVA, but there are no VA panels in this resolution. Also, does not have the VA gamma shift and has wider viewing angles.
True 8-bit color rather than the 6-bit in the U2412M and other budget models.
Call Dell and have them price match Newegg - then use this deal to get an additional $75 off, bringing the price to $475 from Dell! (YMMV)
Link to review from Anandtech for U2713HM
Also compare same thing with $999 Apple Cinema Display - which has same specifications as this display unit and performs average as per Anandtech review

The only thing is Windows has to do a better job of being able to make everything bigger without loss of quality like the old CRT's for the sake of the older people and visually challenged... it'll make me cringe for them to buy one of these beautiful 27" and ask me to set the res at like 1024x768 or something, eww.
