I currently have Blockbuster 3 out at a time for 19.99( they never moved my price up). I have an Xbox, so I can get netflix intsantly on it and the 3 out at a time program is 16.99 there. Which is the better deal?

if you have xboxlive for your 360, i heard great reviews from my friends with netflix and using their 360. I am tempted to do it myself...

I'm planning to swap to Netflix from Blockbuster. A co-worker has a "2 at a time plus unlimited streaming" package that's just a bit cheaper than my BB 3 at a time but our postal carrier sucks at picking up outgoing mail and we suck at remembering to drop the DVDs off at the mailbox after we've watched them.
We've had an Xbox Gold Membership for almost a year now, so it is worth it... especially when FiOS is just now available and for now we are on a split coaxial cable line so the only HDMI available is via the Xbox.

I have the Netflix 1 out at a time + unlimited streaming over Xbox Live for $10 a month (including blu ray fee) and that is a poop ton of content for me at my fingertips.
Besides, I don't have to go out and keep returning movies to the blockbuster stores only to find out there is absolutly nothing i want to exchange it for.
but don't they just have limited movie selection for netflix online.

The Blockbuster has newer streaming movies available, but as far as getting movies in the mail they are the same.
If you have an xbox then I think netflix is the way to go.
if you want the most up to date streaming movies blockbuster is a good choice
to use blockbuster.com they want me to install some IE explorer attachment to my Safari browser. that was 1 reason i went with netflix

Netflix- hands down.

Last year, with the unlimited store exchanges, it was no question, but now... eh.
Netflix has a bigger selection of foreign, anime, & niche movies, but they'll throttle your account eventually.
Blockbuster is slower overall, but seems to constant with their deliveries... about a 3 day turn around. Some exclusives, & it's convenient if you live close to a store that is still standing.
I haven't tried either one yet for streaming.

BB officially suck arse. Three days after returning all of my movies, they have yet to ship a single movie for me from the queue.

I'm a going with BB. The luxury of having a few BB storefronts within 2-3 miles cannot be matched.

BB needs some time to improve their logistics to catch up with Netflix. I am glad that the red envelope's gonna have some competition.

The fact BB Online is still around kinda shocks me. Netflix all the way. Online streaming, quick turn around and low prices.

I would say Netflix is better but have you tried Game Fly? You get a nice 10-day Free trial + 2 free games. I tried them and it's quite a satisfactory service.

It isn't logistics it planned slow downs of delivering movies. I had BB for a couple years up to 4 months ago. In the beginning it was great. Movies came quickly. Store exchanges were great. Over time they upped the rates to $36. And start slowing down the delivery times. Then about 10 months ago it gets super slow and waits on everything. I rent a lot of documentary and history stuff that are not popular titles. Before they used to come quickly. After the changes they took forever. At the end I had 45 movies in my cue and not one of them had come in over a month. About a third of them are kids movies and cartoons so the distribution was pretty wide.
I have talked to other BB former customers and they all say the same things. Its pretty obvious the greedy corporate slugs decided they wanted more profit and they tinkered with everything so they come out way ahead no matter what.
Blockbuster for the in store exchanges.

I have had Netflix for a few months now and I like it very much. My movies come quickly to my house and I watch them at my own pace with no late fees and then return rinse and repeat. I have the 3 movies at a time package for about $18 with tax

I have blockbuster, and it has been getting REALLY slow...taking days to send new movies after I return others. I am thinking of switching myself.

You can't go wrong with netflix, instant streaming to your pc, very fast shipping, and if anything goes wrong they are usually cool with it.
