Anyone have any experience with Bob's Furniture Stores?

I love them!!! I bought a few things from Bob's. I have a really nice dining room table and chairs. They had some type of extended warranty - they'll fix the table, stain, wood, etc. if something happens. I haven't needed it. The table is probably 4 or 5 years old now and I love it and have had a ton of compliments...
Bob's is great!

I was thinking about it... I also like the snacks they have in the middle! I think I'm going back to Bob's soon.
I also bought artwork off their walls because they sell that too! And I bought a couch a while ago. Great prices. Great service. Great snacks and fish to watch swin (if you go to the Brookfield store - I'm not sure if they have fish in all stores).

Where is Bob's? We have one in MA, but doubt that's the one you all are talking about.

I am in NJ and have read many mixed reviews on Bob's Furniture - looks like the BBB has some unsatisfactory ratings for them as well

Bob's has several locations including some in MA. I think they started as a smaller company and it was a different type of operation. Now they have locations throughout the Northeast. I haven't bought anything there in a while, but I do plan on going back because I had many positive experiences there.

Glad to see this thread is here so I don't need to start a new one. I went to Bob's the other day since my girlfriend and I are looking for a kitchen/dining table for our apartment. All I can say about Bob's is what a DUMP!!!! The furniture is beyond cheap looking/feeling. First, most of the tables we looked at were very flimsy, almost felt as if they were made of balsa wood. They scratched very easily, doubt they would hold up to more than 30 seconds of any normal use. Then while walking around we looked at some recliners. We did find one that was fairly comfortable to sit in, of course it was made of cheap black vinyl. It looked as though it were wrapped in black hefty garbage bags. None of the items in the store were great bargains anyway. Most items were maybe a few dollars less in price that legitimate furniture stores, but significantly lower in quality. I will actually go as far to say that Ikea seems high end compared to Bob's.
