I have been looking at this set for along time now. It was 99.99 on Black Friday at sears and is now 119.00 but i am hoping to find a coupon somwhere.

I have a cheap 60.00 set that is ready for the garbage.

Can anyone comment on this set?

Depends. Do you like nonstick coating? If you do this could possibly be a good set. I find that all the pans I've ever had which have had nonstick coating have had the coating start to peel in about 3 years - even with gentle use. I would also look at how the handles are attached and how the lids are put together. Any gaps could be difficult to clean and the lids should fit tightly. One more thing to consider - usually hard-anodized is a lot heavier than most other pans. Are you strong enough to hold it up when you have to wash it and stuff? If you have arthritis or something like that the weight could be too much.
There's my two cents - I don't own this set, but I did recently shop for some pans so I kind of know what to look for. :)

oh, PS - I like the price.

Well for anyone who cares, i got the set for Xmas.

Awesome set! Great quality! very strong and i actually have the teflon coating a little test in store on the floor models ( i used my car key to try and scratch the life out of them and nothing )

Anyways, the handles and are are solid stainless steel rivets ( not cheap screws like some ) so they will never loosen up.

Construction of the lids are very solid, glass is very thick and seems like they will with stand a beating

The pots themselves seem thick and also very solid. Food cooks great in them, heats very quickly also.

Handle are stainless steel and very solid.

One downside i will admit are certain pans and pots seem to be ( top heavy? ) for instance, if i set a pot on the stove with nothing in it, the handle seems to out way the weight of the pot itself, making the post tilt a bit and would easy tip over onto the stove or floor, once you put something in it ( water, food, etc) it is fine.

other then that, great set and the price was perfect also!
