The idea for this thread is to allow anyone who has purchased items from the Kohl's Store or from Kohl's.com to post what they bought and share their opinions on that item.
There are a lot of Kohl's shoppers here :) and sharing our personal observations may be useful to others.

keyhole camisole is cute, but is way low cut in the indentation. as in if you're on the flat side, it's not enough, and if you're very well endowed, it'll be too much. somewhere in the middle will be cute, but you need a modest amount of cleavage.

I was planning on creating the product review thread today. Am glad you did that.
Wanted to mention few things which I bought and am very happy with the purchase.
1. I got AVIA Thong Sandals (http://kohls.com/kohlsStore/mens/swimshop/flipflops/PRD~307804/Avia+Thong+Sandals.jsp) during the 30% code sale for $6.99. My husband says they are very comfortable. I was expecting some cheap plastic slippers but to my surprise they are very well made. Wore it for sometime in the house and felt quite good.
2.Scentsations Cherry Blossom Clear Bag Gift Set (http://kohls.com/kohlsStore/beauty/bathbody/sets/PRD~310926/Scentsations+Cherry+Blossom+Clear+Bag+Gift+Set.jsp ) - While this is a Cherry blossom flavour, i got Fruit sorbet which is orange in color. Got it for $4.20. Good size and pleasant flavour. Bought it as a gift, hope they like it as much as i did.
3. Croft & Barrow® Dalton Slip-On Shoes
(http://kohls.com/kohlsStore/shoes/brandsforshoes/croftbarrow/men/PRD~c10823/Croft++Barrow+Dalton+SlipOn+Shoes.jsp) for $26.24. When i saw these in the store, did not like it much. But for the price they are ok. Its been 10 days and noticed the back of the shoes stitching is becoming loose. Not well made. Got one in black and brown each. DH used the black shoe so am going to return the brown.
Hope my reviews are useful to someone. Many more to come. :look: depending on the response..
P.S - Prices are including tax, shipping.

4. Relic Canvas Travel Kit (http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/mens/accessories/businesstravel/travelkits/PRD~356572/Relic+Canvas+Travel+Kit.jsp) - The picture looks good but when i got this, it was not as good as i expected. The colors were very dull and did not have the richness of the pic. Returned it . Got it for $10.50

I have a general review of Sonoma t-shirts. All of these shirts that I have bought in the toddler girl sizes have run about a size small. The fabric is thin and wears faster than other shirts I have bought too. I ended up returning the Sonoma t-shirts that I bought for me because I didn't like how thin they are, even with the great price.

I love the idea of this thread... ok, so here goes my review - http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/clearance/womens1/coordinates/PRD~341709/daisy+fuentes+Floral+TieBack+Neck+Tee.jsp
Bought this in fuchsia a while back, tho cheaper. Its around $7.20 in-store... the fabric is soft and flows well. Is better than it looks, and I have recd compliments for it.

Review of Speedo® Reef Volley Swim Trunks...
I bought these as a gift and they feel very nice and thick. Not too flimsy. I trust the Speedo brand! :)

The Big One® Solid Tub Mat (http://www.kohls.com/upgrade/webstore/product_page.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=8455248663716 77&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374752627162&bmUID=1219950625602)
Ok, I just got the "tub mat" in that some of you said was like a towel. No kidding! It IS a towel, it just had the design of a bath mat. I swear, DH just asked why I got another towel. I cant stress enough how much this looks, feels like a towel.
I thought it would be a little stiffer. Nope, you can fold it just like a towel. Not giving the product a thumbs down per say....just giving you guys a heads up. It is a towel.
I already knew there was no rubber backing, but that was one selling pooint. DS have allergies and rubber backing inhibits the growth of mold and mildew. Also, because of that, it can create a yerlowing of your vinyl or hardwood. Most vinyl flooring companies will void your warranty if you have mats with rubberized backings of any kind. (family has 30= years in the flooring business)
But I LOVE rubberized backing...no falls.

Hi Busy,
I ordered a couple of these too. Mine haven't arrived yet though. I was wondering how well they would work with a VERY active 22 month old...
I'm glad you posted this. :) I'll give you an update when I receive them.

YBBMV ~ you boo boos may vary.
It is a towel. Not giving it a bad rep, just saying if you take a towel form under the counter, it would be the same thing. Its thin and foldable, just like a towel. No one I showed it to could tell the difference. Let us know what you think when you get it. Not a bad product, just not what I was expecting.

What's funny is that I had already received them with some other packages but just hadn't opened them at that time! Silly girl I am! I guess I like delayed gratification! :D
I bought two of these and you are right. They are indeed just like towels only shorter than a bath towel. I don't know if I will keep these since I need a stable bath rug and I can get bigger cheaper, towels! :)
Yes, I've decided they are going into my return pile.

Cool Gear Water Bottles:
Just thought I would pass on some info about these bottles. The one I bought is no longer on the website, but they carry others. Cool Gear has a statement on their website saying that the line currently sold by Kohl's (EZ-Freeze) is not BPA-free. They have a new line coming out called EZ-Freeze Free, which is BPA free. All their bottles (including the new line) are under recycle code 7. There is another number on the bottom which is a tool code, not the recycle code. The BPA chemical should only leech out when the plastic is heated, so if you keep these bottles then only use them for cold liquids and never microwave them. The website says they are dishwasher safe (not the freezer part), but personally I would handwash them if I were you. HTH!

I am looking for new water bottle for my son and I.

Chaps Bath Rug (http://66.232.224.3/kohlsStore/PRD~c10321/Chaps+Bath+Rugs.jsp)
Ordered on 8/27 and received yesterday (9/3).
Sizes, Colors & Purchase Price:
Chaps Bath Rug - 21 x 34 | Pearl Blue | $4.90 - 15% | Total: $4.16
Chaps Bath Rug - 24 x 40 | Pearl Blue | $6.30 - 15% | Total: $5.36
These do not have a rubber backing.
They are very thick, and do resemble their towels, with the exception being that they have a typical design pattern as shown in the attachment.
I would compare the thickness to be if you would take about 3 of their bath towels, and stacked them on top of each other.
I purchase two sizes, not knowing which size would work best in the master bath, but the DW said that neither one is going back!
She said she'll put the other one in front of the vanity.
Overall, for the price paid, it was a very good deal.
If these were much higher, I would've probably had passed on it.

OK - I purchased 2 pair of these jeans - in both a 4 and a 6 petite. I figured I'd be able to keep one, and return the other.
They are both going back.
Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda Stretch Jeans (http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/clearance/PRD~404934/.jsp?prtID=pfx&src=k1971&cm_mmc=Performics-_-Affiliate-_-**Slick%20Deals**-_-120x30%20Kohl%27s%20w%2Fborder)
I can't recall the price and the receipt is not handy. However, I feel as if I've time-warped back to another decade. They are higher waisted than I prefer (now) and they are straight legged - almost tapered.
I do like the faded color. However, they are super petite - I usually order petite, and these are ankle high...:lmao:  :lmao:
Anybody else order these and what did you think?
I also got in a solid white Chaps tee that has buttons/snaps on the shoulder. Super cute - love it, love it - love it. However, when I washed/dried it, it shrunk a ton. I wish I could find it to share - and I wish I'd ordered a medium. I can't recall if it was a petite or not.

Came with all four brushes $9.99 before discount at Kohls. OOS at Kohls right now but well worth the price I paid. Would pay more. Great for corners. Pretty dang powerful for battery operated.

I bought DH several of the Sonoma jersey t-shirts a while back for $2.00 b/c. They are very soft and wash well. I see they are $7.99 for reg men's sizes. I bought big & tall.

 I bought these too and returned them. I didn't want to look like I belong in the 80's :shake:
And, I love the quality of the Chaps rugs too. Its just that the color I got doesn't match my current bathroom decor.. I'll be trying an even exchange and if that doesn't work, I'll have to think twice before I decide to return or keep them. Don't really want to return them, but sometimes I have to. I can't give rugs as gifts or I would keep them no matter what..

Heart & Soul™ Floral Halter Dress (http://slickdeals.net/?sduid=265118&sdtid=901593&sdfid=30&u2=http://www.kohls.com/upgrade/webstore/product_page.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=8455248924269 14&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374752618853&bmUID=1221172151698)
original $58.00
now $17.40
(currently oos, i bought it when it was $7.39 after discounts)
the 32" is from the shoulder down.
for my 5'9" frame i ordered the large, and it comes down to about 4 inches above the knee. its not as long as i had hoped, but it is still long enough to be cute and cover my posterior should i need to bend over.
hiccups: the skirt does not cling to your body, so if you have a little pooch the skirt will poof out and make you appear "thicker" than you actually are. BUT this same non-clinginess makes the dress super comfortable!!
and huge plus: the smocked empire waist and padded cups are supportive of your chest, so no worries about not being able to wear a bra with it. the ladies are good to go.
for me the biggest selling point on keeping this dress is how supportive the top is. i haven't been able to wear a halter dress in a long time (fellow moms, i'm sure you understand why  ). but this one looks great and cute on me so i'm glad i didn't hesitate to buy.
so.. just in case anyone is still waiting for their dress to come in or might want to bookmark this one.

 My DD received her dress also. At a little under 5", it hits at her knee, so it worked for her also! :woot:
It's not quite as dressy as I expected, and is not really flattering with her figure. However, we both agreed it will work great for an occasion like a graduation party...which there will be a lot of this coming year. So, it's a keeper.

It looked really lovely and I hope the recipient loves it too! :)

just received these, I bought back when they were all 90% off.
but wanted to say that I absolutely love them all - they are very cute!! the smocked bodice top has buttons on the straps so you can make the 'sleeves' longer if needed. the tee, polo shirt and dress are very soft and comfy. I can hardly wait to wear these for real.

anyway, I am annoyed it did not come with the shoulder straps specified in the description. the shape of the bag and shortness on zipper length make it awkward to open it as wide as needed on an everyday basis. bag is 13 inches wide, zipper is only 11.
it is big, but not too big. I love the color and the hearts are just too cute. I got mine in pink since intent was never for everyday use. I plan to use this one on my weekend trips up to my parents.
overall I like both a lot, but do favor the Relic over the Candies as far as reviews go.
lastly I want to review the:

http://media.kohls.com.edgesuite.net/is/image/kohls/c10309?wid=230&hei=230&op_sharpen=1
comforter set: orig $219.99 - $269.99, now $43.99 - $107.99
sheets: orig $64.99, now $25.99 (full only)
dh and I have now been sleeping in ours for about a week, and we LOVE it! we even got a 2nd set to give as a wedding gift. the sheets are kind of on the stiffer side but I'm sure they will get softer once they've been washed a few times. even with the new stiffness they are very comfortable. the comforter is very warm, and coupled with the bedskirt our bed looks absolutely fab in it.
this was an awesome buy, and if anyone has not gotten this yet - I totally recommend you to do so!!

anyway, I am annoyed it did not come with the shoulder straps specified in the description. the shape of the bag and shortness on zipper length make it awkward to open it as wide as needed on an everyday basis. bag is 13 inches wide, zipper is only 11.
it is big, but not too big. I love the color and the hearts are just too cute. I got mine in pink since intent was never for everyday use. I plan to use this one on my weekend trips up to my parents.
overall I like both a lot, but do favor the Relic over the Candies as far as reviews go.
lastly I want to review the:

dh and I have now been sleeping in ours for about a week, and we LOVE it! we even got a 2nd set to give as a wedding gift. the sheets are kind of on the stiffer side but I'm sure they will get softer once they've been washed a few times. even with the new stiffness they are very comfortable. the comforter is very warm, and coupled with the bedskirt our bed looks absolutely fab in it.
this was an awesome buy, and if anyone has not gotten this yet - I totally recommend you to do so!!
How are your Dockers sheets and comforter set working out for you?

I got the King Size Home Classics® Premier Down Alternative Comforter, and I love it. Its white, pretty thick for down alternative, and keeps me nice and toasty. I disagree with anyone who thinks its a summer blanket, unless you live in an igloo in Alaska in the summer... Anyhow I feel like I am wrapped up in a cloud in it at night and my DH says its too hot and cannot have it on. I also bought one for my brother, and he absolutely loves it. His house can get really cold and he says its a nice soft and warm blanket. Since we are all allergic to down, this is a fantastic alternative. Especially for this hot price!

I also wore the Oh Baby! Motherhood maternity brand throughout both my pregnancies. It is a comfortable, cute affordable line and I am impressed with every item I had. Although my baby is 10 months old now, so nothing I had is still available! ;) Congrats to all the mommies, new mommies, and preggos here!

I never really shop too much in Kohl’s local store, but somehow I find myself shopping at their Online Store very frequently. In general, the online store offers great selection and excellent prices.

There were multiple colleges on these sweatshirts. I bought IU from the store and it is so great.
Super soft on the inside. The hood is perfect for putting over my head - not like those hoodies where they are too big & droop in the eyes, or too small where you feel like you're showing your back.
The only bad thing is that there are little pilled up areas from washing on the inside of the pocket - evidently the dryer can't get them effectively. But that's such a small con - I wouldn't let it prevent me from buying another!

So I had to buy every color. Only red and green are left now. And for some reason, now, when I add it to my cart it comes up half price so with 30% off it's less than $4. I had to buy duplicates. http://www.kohls.com/upgrade/webstore/zoom_popup.jsp?productId=845524892388029

Yes I had ordered two pillows for my guest room but I ended up using one for myself. It stays pretty firm for quite a while but after a little while it deflates a bit.
I haven't tried to fluff it up. Maybe if I did it would plump up again.
For the money, it does it's job for me. I give it

Just received these and I find they are not as good as the Sonoma Life + Style Flannel Pajamas I got last year. These were one of the 24 days of Christmas deals.
The thermal pjs seem to run smaller but I guess maybe it is this way since they are supposed to be thermals. And, it doesn't seem to be as warm as the flannels.
I got a Penguin and a Peace set. Will probably keep the Penguin set because it was a good price after the discount. And, it's cuter.

Home Classics® Micromink Down Throw Blanket (http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/landingpages/sonoma/bedding/PRD~372267/Home+Classics+Micromink+Down+Throw+Blanket.jsp)
http://forums.slickdeals.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=160503&d=1231721667
Available in Blue, Green, Khaki:
Baffle-box design maintains an even distribution of feathers.
Velvety micromink side feels great against your skin.
Details:
50" x 60"
Shell: polyester
Fill: down/polyester
Machine wash
I bought the green one last month. It's comfortable, but it's small in comparison to my other throws, and the micromink is only on the outside. The inside is a much less luxurious material. It would be much better if the soft material was on both sides.

Copied from THIS thread (http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?t=901593&page=103)--trying to get these reviews started again!!
We needed new pillows last year, so I bought some of The Big One brand pillows, sheets, and towels for us and to use as Christmas gifts (I'm big on buying useful gifts--my in laws are actually pretty bummed since I told them they may not be getting the giant boxes of cleaning supplies and HBA this year that we've been doing the past couple of years for Christmas ) The towels were for hubby's grandparents, and I bought them about a dozen, I think (it was the black friday sale, and they were only a couple dollars each) I was REALLY surprised at how big and fluffy they were when they arrived. Now, as to how well they hold up--hubby's grandparents are children of the depression, so I can't guarantee they've actually used them yet, though he has promised to call them tonight and ask how the towels are holding up. We're planning to buy some more for us and maybe for others as gifts this year, but I'm concerned about the complaints some have had here about them never seeming to dry completely--I HATE towels that do that!! I just bought a few for my brother and new SIL, so I'm hoping they can give me a thorough review before I have to decide about the holiday gifts.
The Big One sheets I love, BUT I love new sheets. Some people like their sheets better when they start to get softened in the wash--that's when I donate mine and open another new pack *blush* So, I usually have four sets of sheets at a time, change weekly, and then toss them after three or four months, and the big ones work great for that purpose. My MIL insists those are the only sheets that fit her queen size pillowtop mattress well, too. I've read several complaints about The Big One sheets being low quality, but I guess it just depends on what you're used to or how you use your sheets. I own a couple of sets of high thread count sheets (800 or 1200), and while they're nice, they're just not cost effective for my nearly-disposable sheet using needs
Now, the pillows I'm just not sure about. Pillows are another thing I replace fairly often due to allergens, plus I toss mine in the washing machine at LEAST once a month and toss them in the dryer with tennis balls to dry, so I don't consider my use of them 'usual'. Actually, I'd say I'm pretty hard on pillows, and I probably don't expect them to hold up to that abuse for more than six months I really liked The Big One pillows when they first arrived (especially for the $3 or so I paid for them), we've been using them for about seven months now, they've been washed and dried at least a half dozen times, and they're ready to be replaced. We're considering memory foam, but I had to spend the $$$ when I know I'll be abusing them

I've used a lot of the different towels that kohls carries, since they often get clearanced for just a dollar or two. Here's my opinion of their quality and value.
First off let me say that towels are like sheets in that the threadcount and the material make all the difference in the quality. Unfortunately threadcount is not generally listed with the product features for towels, but when you pick it up, you can get a general idea based on how heavy the towel is, and, when holding it up to the light, how much (if any) light can be seen through it. Materials that I look for when buying towels include Supima cotton (short for superior pima), egyptian cotton, microcotton (quite different than microfiber), cotton/bamboo blends, etc. It's really just a matter of your personal preference, though, and how each company weaves the fibers. :)
The Big One (http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/bedandbath/brandsforbath/thebigone/PRD~c15767/The+Big+One+Striped+Bath+Towels.jsp) - You can buy these towels for dirt cheap when they are on clearance - they are the least expensive line in the store. They are somewhat smaller (27 x 52) than the the standard towel, thinner, and scratchier. They do sometimes come in attractive patterns, though (right now they have nice stripes). I would not recommend these for daily use unless you are really undiscriminating - I'd say that they are best for a beach towel, cleaning off the dog or the car, guest room towels, maybe for a child's bathroom (they do have lots of bright and pastel colors).
Sonoma (http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/landingpages/sonoma/bath/PRD~c17529/SONOMA+life+++style+Leaf+and+Striped+Bath+Towels.j sp) - This is another Kohl's brand, midline in price (about $6 on sale for bath) that comes in solid colors and very attractive patterns. DH bought a set of these in white and green on clearance and I was rather disappointed in the quality. The green towels all developed bleach-like splotches after their first use or washing - it seemed like the dye was not properly set. I don' t know if mine were just defective, or if this is a common problem with this brand. The cotton loops (piles) also have the tendency to snag. These towels are moderately soft and absorbent. That all being said, I think that these would make wonderful towels for a guest or child's bathroom.
Apt 9 (http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/landingpages/apt9/bedbath/PRD~c15009/apt+9+Ribbed+Ringspun+Pima+Cotton+Bath+Towels.jsp# ) - Similar to Sonoma in price and quality, maybe somewhat nicer. They do seem somewhat softer, I don't think that they would be much more absorbent though. There are two different types (plus the patterned ones). The ringspun pima snags like nobody's business and, although it's made of a higher quality material, it is not as thick as some of the better towels (the way that the loops are made make it look a lot thicker).
Vera Wang (http://www.kohls.com/upgrade/webstore/product_page_multiple.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=8455 24888856401&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374752628267&searchTerm=vera+wang+towel&bmUID=1253394284211) - These are one of my favorite towels. They are incredibly thick and heavy, which makes them very absorbent . They may not feel as soft to the initial touch as some of the other brands do, but most other towels become scratchy after they are washed or get wet - these stay soft and get softer when they are wet. They are a cotton-bamboo blend and they come in earth tones. They run about $8 or $9 on sale, and they are larger than the standard towel (30 x 58) - additionally, they sell supersized 'bath sheets' in the store if you really want a huge towel. The only downside is that since they are so thick, they take a while to dry, which is sometimes a problem when using my face towel. Also, I wish that her color selection was wider. Excellent for everyday pampering, and very durable.
Chaps (http://www.kohls.com/upgrade/webstore/product_page_multiple.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=8455 24892427577&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374752659520&searchTerm=chaps+towel&bmUID=1253394701345) - I've never used this brand, but from store shopping I can say that they are very soft and seem to be of good quality - Chaps generally makes nice things. Turkish cotton, a wide variety of colors, oversized towel (30 x 58) and bath sheet also available (35 x 68). Can easily be found on sale for $9 or $10.
Laura Ashley (http://www.kohls.com/upgrade/webstore/product_page_multiple.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=8455 24547211021&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374752659522&searchTerm=laura+ashley+towel&bmUID=1253394950356) - Again, I have not had any personal experience with these towel. However, they are made of a very soft microcotton that is quite pleasing to the touch. They seemed somewhat thin to me - do not know how absorbent they would be, but it could all be in my head. They run about the same price as Vera Wang, and are usually available in pastel shades. I think that a grandmother would really like these towels :bounce:
Luxury Collection Microcotton (http://www.kohls.com/kohlsStore/bedandbath/towels/solid/towels/PRD~c15348/Luxury+Collection+Microcotton+Bath+Towels.jsp) - This is another one of my favorites. They are made of microcotton, but the loops are packed thicker than in the Laura Ashley towels. This is what I currently use as my bath towel, and they have remained soft after repeated washings (without fabric softener, of course) and soak water right up. It is an oversized towel, and it runs about $10 to 12 on sale for the bath towel. The colors are very vibrant. After much testing and deliberation about which bath towel to use, this is what I ended up with, and I have been very pleased with the quality. This line may be on its was to discontinuation, though - the online selection is very limited. It is still available in stores, though (at least near me).
Hope this helps!:bounce:

I love Kohl's and shop there their stores or online often. Two purchases I was disappointed with was Sonoma Polo shirts, which shrank in length each time I washed them. After about 3 washes, I took them back, picked up a new one to show how much shorter they were after washing, got my money back. The other purchase was a set of Pyrex with lids. I gave $19.95 for a set of 3. Later I was at WalMart and noticed the same set for $11.95, but that was my fault! I got a fabulous deal on a Bissel ProHeat carpet cleaner. Kohl's had all housewares 40% off and I had a coupon for 30% off when using their charge card, so I got it for less than $100, which is almost the cost of one professional carpet cleaning. This carpet cleaner works great, very easy to use. A great investment!
I have had problems also with the Sonoma clothing...shrinking and twisting. I try to stay away from that brand...

I bought them not realizing they were different from the normal Gloria Vanderbilt slacks that I bought last year and didn't locate in Kohl's until a couple of weeks ago. I expected them in Spring or Summer but they just came in. These are higher waisted, more tapered and run smaller than the other style. Usually, I wear a 4 P; these are too tight in a 6 P. Other than that, I love them because they are very slimming, extremely comfortable, easy to wash and iron and they are long lasting. I have three pairs of the other style in black and these are purple (more of a burgundy) but cute. They are normally $29.99, were on sale for $19.99 and, with the 30% coupon, they're a great deal. However many are left on the 30th, I'll be buying.

I picked up some Chaps towels a while back when they were on sale and they are simply fabulous! Very soft and plush but still absorbent.
They are my top pick out of all the brands in my linen closet!
