Not sure if this goes here....

I'm about to book tickets on US Airways. I had never heard about this airways before so I though of finding out the reviews (which were mixed & inconclusive). So I want to know from fellow SD'er about their experience with US Airways (if any).

You should be fine. US Scare isn't too bad. They aren't any worse than average IMO.

I've flown on them a bunch and never had a problem. I've lived to tell :whee:

they flew me around the contry as the sold my ticket so missed internatinal flight then they could not get mee on a flight that was going all the way to my city the plane went on as i had to collect my bags,i met lots of people whos flights were delayed so other flights left with their bags,now they dont give free drinks i would avoid them

USAirways is alienating even its most loyal former customers. US Airways has earned so so ratings from Viewpoints members. Frequent fliers noted that US Airways flies good routes. Members also liked the fact that US Airways flights are affordable. Those who are appreciative of good service complained of delayed flights, bait and switch offers and supreme incompetence Bottom line Viewpoints members felt that US Airways overall service was average at best.

It's possibly the worst airline I've ever flown with. The CS is indifferent, to put it charitably. I missed a connecting flight even though I was told that it would be held for the passengers from the first flight. Their attitude was "that's tough".

I'm not a big fan.. I understand the airlines are trying to save money but still get annoyed by the idea that they are charging for drinks and not free food.... If you find a cheap ticket its not a big deal or difference to just fly.. its certainly not a horrible experience but def not one of the more "luxurious" airlines
