Includes Tuner & Gig Bag (tho I don't suggest "gigs" with this thing )

Pretty decent price. Don't expect too much out of it but for the price it isn't bad for a beginner.

Review [expotv.com] - He seems to REALLY like it

Amazon price is @ $149 [amazon.com]

Best Buy price is @ $149 [bestbuy.com]

This sucker will be FP. Thumb upped and repped.

Is this for Xbox, PS3, or Wii? Guitar Hero or Rock Band compatible? You can't just list a guitar and not let us know what game and system it's for. Seriously.

(kids all over the country) I don't want to play this. It doesn't even have the colored buttons to tell me what to press! This is stupid.

Today I went to Target in Morrow, GA for after Haloween sales and find this Fender acoustic guitar on temporary sales for $74.99 (regular was $149.99). I picked one and completely satisfy with it ( I'm a guitar newbie). So if anyone is in market for one, you might wanna check out your local target. It i around $129.99 ~ $150 everywhere else, so good luck hunting everyone.

The item # on receipt is 057120129.

Amazon review and link is http://www.amazon.com/Fender-Star...=8-2-spell

PS: oops I did not know there was already a thread about this...so mod please delete or merge this thread for me please....

If i were you, rather than wait and chance it, i would order it now, then go to the store tomorrow and look.
You can always cancel your order and if not, you can return it to the store

OK I'll chime in.
I played guitar for 40 years on and off now. Fairly good for the time expended.
I remember when I was a beginner in he 60's.
I had a crap guitar, its all I could afford or fix. Hard to play , strings high off the board, fingers hurt all the time with strings high off the frets.
Bottom line is I kept with it, but if I had a few extra $$$ to buy a guitar with good action ( i didn't), I would have been a lot farther a lot quicker.
Spend the extra bucks and get a good guitar that can play well, especially for a beginner. They won't get tired of it and they will progress faster. And if it doesn't take off sell it and lose a few bucks, big deal.
