This seems like a really great deal for a 26in 1080p with 178 degree viewing angles.

A thumbs up to negate the thumbs down. Please state a reason why you don't like the deal if you are going to give it a thumbs down.

Jumped on it. Needed a wall mountable TV for my porch for those chilly Florida winter nights. I can return to any Target if I see a better deal in the next few days, correct?

I jumped as well. I've been looking for a wall mountable 26" TV for the kitchen. Reviews are good, price is good. I like it. I had seen several deals for the T260HD and was interested, but there is an additional cost to wall mount the TV (proprietary mounting hardware) and the model's primary function is as a computer monitor (sounds like it does that well) not an HDTV. Thumbs high. EDIT: For those that will be mounting the TV in a wall niche or cabinet, please note the dimensions listed on the Target website are packaging dimensions. I updated the wiki with product dimensions.

How is this as a COMPUTER MONITOR?

thanks OP, pretty much just what I've been waiting for. I picked this up for $312 after tax + free ship to CA. The other great thing about this item is that it can be returned to any target store (didn't notice until after I ordered, jumping before checking safety net as usual!) I enrolled in the "yourchasefreedom" first, which apparently entitles me to "3% extra cash back" when I use the chase freedom visa to buy computer/electronic/book stuff. No idea if it worked here though. Here's hopin'.

Not great. To start, it's (as usual) a TN panel. I have the Vizio VMM26 and would bet that this has the exact same innards. Whites look bluish and color looks pathetic next to my Ultrasharp. But 1080p is a plus, no matter what the 720p whiners say. When you're using this size as a computer monitor, 720p is DOA. |
