DEAD DEAD DEAD

MAXI-MATIC EDF-3500 3.5 Qt. Immersion Deep Fryer [newegg.com]

DEAD DEAD DEAD

$40 - $10 off with promo code EMCMMLP77 = $30 shipped.
Limit 5, in case you're interested in parallel frying.

Brand: MAXI-MATIC
Model: EDF-3500

Features:
* Brushed stainless steel body
* Brushed stainless steel inner container
* Stainless steel heating element
* Viewing window built into the lid
* 30 minute timer
* Adjustable thermostat control
* Removable filter

----------

I'm surprised this hasn't been posted yet on comedic/nutritional value alone. It also seems to be a pretty good deal if you want to do some small-scale deep frying.

On Amazon [amazon.com] for $60 with a single review.
At Meijers [meijer.com] for $50.
At Fingerhut [fingerhut.com] for $80 (two reviews).
OOS at Target [target.com] (one review).

I'm a little scared by the fact that the manufacturer doesn't have this on their website anymore.

MAkes sure you remember where the temp and timer settings are lol. It seems from reading the reviews that the numbers on the dials wipe off the first time you wash it. YMMV on that though

I bought one of these about 4 months ago, Fried the best fish and shrimp I have ever eat, cleaned and put away. The next time got ready for the same meal the thing would not work, and it was to long to return. BEWARE!!!!!!!
