I wouldn't ever recommend Sharp sets due to banding, but for this price, and the amount of time I see banding (only watching golf and once in a great while a tv commercial with one blooming color - I've got the LC46D64U Aquos), I'd say this is a definite FP SD. Nice find Tank.

Cheapest i can find via Google Products is 1029, and I'm not sure that place is legit.

Ordered 1 with bing 10% cashback, thanks OP

Links won't work at SD. Just do a search on Walmart for Sharp 46 LCD. Log on through Bing CB first. Get extra 10% Bing which more than covers your tax.

Yeah, that works great as well. I'm trying to decide if I could get my Associate Discount on top of Bing! Also, it's pretty cool that our deals are getting aggressive this early in the Season. Since, "The Event" is about 3 weeks away, this is cool.

To get 10% Off, go here: http://www.bing.com/search?q=d90&...=QBLH&qs=n and go to the fourth result in Sponsored Sites.

Nevermind - I was able to apply 10% on this. But I'm going to hold off. I think the 52" set for $888 is a better deal, and I'm sure we'll see that price again in the near future. It's sitting in my cart just in case. Guess I could make a $100 or so off it on CL. I'm just not into that. Hmmmm.

For those that pull the trigger, make sure to use a Visa, MC, or Amex that double's the mfg. warranty. Sharp's are buggy, and this set may have an audio "popping" noise. So external speakers may be needed to avoid it.

Everyone do a search for the 52" Sharp for $888 - not available in my area. That's a smokin' deal as well. Only available in stores.

Wow, 52" for $888. Where is that?

Can't decide if I want to bite on this or hold out for a better set/brand. My goal is a 1080/120/47"-50" for $800.

Edit: NVM, found one near me, about an hour away. How do you get Bing CB if you check out in-store?
