BACK IN STOCK so deal is alive again!

BIC America VK-12 250W RMS (1000W Peak) Subwoofer with BASH amp and 12-inch Kevlar cone is available at Meijer.com [meijer.com] for $227.69 after 10% Bing cashback. Best price from any other reliable shop is at least $329.

- Price at Meijer is $252.99 but search for "Meijer Green Tea" in Bing and it will show 10% cash back.
- Free shipping if you purchase it using Meijer gift card so I purchased the electronic gift card first and then bought the subwoofer. Meijer is not very quick in shipping the e-gift card so you might have to wait for 1 day to get it. Free shipping is also available with coupon code "thanksfree" over any order of $75, but use of coupon might void Bing cashback.
- Tax in MI, IL, IN, KY, and OH. So as a californian I was very happy with an additional 10% savings.
- To be sure, I called BIC America and verified that Meijer is an authorized reseller so all factory warranties will be honored. As always, save your receipt.

Now for those who like me have recently purchased Energy Take 5 speakers at a very good price and all those who are wondering if this is a good subwoofer at this price:

- Compared to sub $200 100-150W RMS Energy and Polk subwoofers, this subwoofer offers 250W continuous RMS power. Peak power does not mean much but if you compare that, this sub has 1000W peak.
- Powered by BASH amp (designed by highly regarded HSU team)
- Includes 12-inch Kevlar (material used in bullet-proof jackets) cone so it is very durable.
- Comes with 7 Year Woofer / 2 Year Amplifier Warranty

Can't beat this subwoofer for the price. HSU subwoofers are excellent for the price but you won't get one for $227 shipped.

Tempted to hop on this to replace my 10" dayton sub that's impressed me a lot but seemed to have a hard time keeping up on the the new Star Trek blu-ray! Wonder how much of an upgrade this would be...

BIC makes nice subs...but if you really can afford it, the HSU is the best bang for the buck. I have been through several subs, and after getting my hsu vt3-mk3, i am hands down a hsu product supporter for life

I agree. HSU makes some of the best subs but then we are comparing $600 sub with this $200 sub.

This is a good sub. Replacing the BIC H200. I have a elemental Designs A2-300 and it rocks my room. Very clean tight bass but that is $350. For this price, its a pretty good deal. OP rep

If my significant other hadn't bought the A2-300 I might have to jump on this instead of him!
