has really good reviews and I'm getting tired of my damn vacuum because it has like 10 different compartments and filters. I also have to empty it every cleaning. not sure if I want a canister though..

Good price for sure. I was gonna buy that vacuum a few months ago, but instead I opted for that one: http://www.amazon.com/Hoover-U514...B0009ONZ8G Much cheaper and had very good reviews. So far so good, I'm happy, and even if it breaks down I can buy 4 brand new ones.

Looks like it might be sold out. They are saying that it is a 33 day wait for them to be restocked. When this happens on a clearance item that usually means it is gone. Bummer. I was looking for this exact vacuum. For the record, Consumer Reports lists this as their second best vacuum and a best buy.

mine is estimated shipping before 2/25/2009. I've dealt with Macy's before regarding similar situations. They usually ship sooner than estimates..my 2cents

FYI for people who want in on this deal. I ordered the vacuum when it was $150 a couple weeks back (like posted earlier). It said it would take 32 days to ship, but I ordered it on 1/21 and I got an email that is shipped on 2/6. You might get it earlier than it says.

I've been looking for a bagged vac as I absoutely hate the dust associated with the bagless and the fact that they kill you with the filter prices (though many bagless people choose not to replace these...). I really wish I had seen this at $113, I think I'm going to have to hold out...

I bought this vac from kohls a few months ago w/ a 30% off q and kohls cash back too. I ended up returning it though. I have a hoover bagged vac now w/ on-board tools, and I just could not get used to having the tools be separate on the canister. But the vacuum did work well and it was extremely light compared to what I have now.

great vac-- it's the one Monk used in the commercials also got this hoover for my parents, they love it-- light weight and practically self propelled-- good suction (I've used it a few times and always liked it)-- it's "quiet" (compared to my vac and their old one) and has 2 settings (rumble and growl) the mini-vac is also bagged and has on board tools & a shoulder strap... it's ok, only 2 annoying things: a little noisy (typical of small vacs, higher pitched) and cord has to be manually wound amazon has vac bags for I think $8 and $4 -- wait for the 4 for 3 promo (that may have included in my pricing) I'd get it if my hepa eureka wasn't still in good shape and I didn't have a bunch of bags for it... it's worth the wait-- macy's items usually come back in stock enjoy! |
